Dan Sargent Joins Rebuilding Together’s National Board
Washington, DC, April 1, 2014 - Rebuilding Together, a national nonprofit with a vision for safe and healthy home for every person, today announced that Dan Sargent, executive director of Rebuilding Together of the Triangle (North Carolina) has been named to its national board of directors.
Dan Sargent is Executive Director of Rebuilding Together of the Triangle (RTT) in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has been with the affiliate since November 2008. Under his leadership, RTT’s budget has grown from $25,000 in 2008 to over $300,000 in 2014, and the affiliate now serves over 40 families each year. He was elected to represent Rebuilding Together’s Region 5 at the National Affiliate Council in 2012. He was also named to the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Leadership Award list in 2013.

Before joining Rebuilding Together, Dan completed an AmeriCorps term of service with Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte, North Carolina, where he worked as an Assistant Construction Supervisor. In addition to his non-profit experience, Dan has worked as a carpenter and directed maintenance at a children’s camp in upstate New York.
Dan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Davis College, located in Johnson City, New York, and a Masters’ degree in Public Administration from the School of Government at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
