Rebuilding Together’s National Affiliate Council Elects Barbara Cupp to National Board of Directors
Washington, D.C., July 21, 2020– Rebuilding Together, the leading national nonprofit organization providing critical home repairs and revitalizing our communities today announced the election of Barbara Cupp, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Anne Arundel County to its national board of directors.
“Over the last eight years, Barbara completely transformed her affiliate by significantly growing its budget and impact,” said Kevin Rafferty, Chairman of Rebuilding Together’s board of directors and Executive Vice President of Hancock Whitney Bank. “As a passionate leader in the Rebuilding Together network, her contributions to our national board of directors will undoubtedly create positive change for the organization.”
Barbara Cupp was a Center Director for the Department of Defense before joining Rebuilding Together in 2012. She is an Army Veteran, an Army Wife and now an Army Mom. Her commitment to the welfare of the communities she serves is unwavering. Her goal is grow and expand Rebuilding Together Anne Arundel County into a strong, sustainable affiliate with a huge impact. She holds a BA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut, and attended Murray State University for her post-graduate coursework. She attended the University of Salzburg, Austria and the Goethe Institute in Munich, Germany before graduating with honors from the U.S. Defense Language Institute in San Francisco.
