Rebuilding Together Announces Gail Fuller as Vice President of Communications and Marketing

Washington, D.C., April 30, 2014 – Rebuilding Together, a national nonprofit with a vision of a safe and healthy home for every person, announced today that, following an extensive nationwide search, Gail Fuller has joined the team as its new Vice President of Communications and Marketing. Fuller will oversee the development and implementation of Rebuilding Together’s overall communications and marketing strategy.

With 26 years of marketing and communications experience, Fuller’s career has spanned several industries, including nonprofits, corporate, and sports. Previously, she led the Rockefeller Brothers Fund’s first strategic communications program as the Director of Communications. Prior to joining the Fund, she served as Senior Director of Marketing and Community Relations for United Way of New York City (UWNYC).  She originally joined United Way to manage the donor communications efforts for The September 11th Fund, established by UWNYC and The New York Community Trust. Fuller also served as the Communications Manager for the Women’s National Basketball Association, and as the Assistant Director of Corporate Communications for the Orlando Magic.

Fuller has been honored with several awards, including the Walt Disney World’s Community Service Award for the Orlando Chamber’s Minority Business Development Program. As a recipient of the Central Florida YMCA Black Achiever Award and the YMCA Greater New York-Harlem Branch Black Achievers in Industry Award, she is a two-time YMCA Black Achiever honoree recognized for her accomplishments in her field and community.

Fuller holds a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from Wake Forest University.
