National Rebuilding Month is in full swing and many Rebuilding Together affiliates have already hit the ground running, demonstrating the power of safe and healthy housing through hands-on repair projects, strong community partnerships and volunteers who show up, rain or shine.

Rebuilding Together Colorado kicked off their first project of the month with a dedicated team of board members and staff. Their work helped Ms. Linda, a homeowner, navigate her home with greater ease and safety. “At the end of the day, Ms. Linda was all smiles, and so were we,” they shared. This project is a joyful reminder of why we do this work.

Rebuilding Together Oklahoma City partnered with Coxs Communications to serve a Del City homeowner, helping ensure they can continue living independently in their beloved home. They also welcomed representatives from the City of Del City, with plans to collaborate on broader revitalization efforts.

Rebuilding Together Philadelphia brought critical repairs to Delancey Street despite cold and rainy weather. “One block at a time, we are creating stability, improving accessibility and preserving generational wealth where it’s needed most,” they wrote. Projects like these are a powerful reflection of the long-term impact these repairs can have.

Rebuilding Together North Jersey organized a prep day for National Rebuilding Day 2025. Dozens of volunteers braved snow and freezing rain to begin work at homes across Bergen and Passaic counties, setting the foundation for safer and healthier homes for neighbors in their community.

As we approach National Rebuilding Day on April 26, we’re grateful for the dedication of Rebuilding Together affiliates and volunteers who are already making a difference. This month is about more than repairing homes, it’s about revitalizing communities and rebuilding lives. Thank you to our partners and supporters across the country. Our vision of safe homes and communities for everyone is coming to life, one project at a time.
